Pollution Price Rebates

Newfoundlanders & Labradorians will start getting rebates from the price on pollution over the next two weeks.

That’s cash in your account, by cheque or deposit, four times a year. You’ll get this every July, October, January, and April. Everyone gets the rebate. Everyone gets money in their account, no matter what you earn, or what you drive. All you have to do is make sure you file your taxes. And if you live outside the Northeast Avalon, you’ll get 10% more.

This system is already working in places like Ontario and Alberta. It’s putting more money in people’s pockets. And now it’s coming to our Province.
